The client requested a redesign of the existing homepage interface to create a more modern visual style and avoid the use of overly traditional design elements. The new design focuses on simplicity, clarity, and interactivity, incorporating current design trends such as flat design, dynamic effects, and futuristic color combinations. Note: According to the client’s description, this game is licensed and released only in countries where gambling is legally permitted and is developed as an outsourced project. This request was a standalone special requirement. Based on the client’s specific circumstances, an appropriate timeline and corresponding UI/UX design process were established.
The process follows a “design-first” approach, beginning with the confirmation of the overall design style. Functional design and detailed adjustments are then developed based on that style, ensuring that functional requirements are met while delivering a modern visual experience aligned with user expectations.
Design Concept
The original interface adopted the flat design style that was popular at the time. However, for a gaming app, this approach did not fully align with its visual characteristics. Therefore, in the redesign, the level of visual refinement was enhanced to create a more detailed interface with a stronger game-oriented aesthetic.
The four primary options were moved to the top level, allowing users to more easily discover other games. Additionally, the height of the banner was reduced so that the game content below could be displayed more clearly and be easier for users to browse.
